Setra Systems, Inc., a leading designer and manufacturer of pressure and acceleration

sensing devices, has announced its new Model 210 series of board-mountable pressure
|
|
|
transducers. The Model 210 series, designed for easy integration into OEM systems, uses
|
|
|
Setra's patented variable capacitance sensing technology. It features advanced signal
|
|
|
conditioning, a high-level output, excellent RFI immunity, and rugged construction.
|
|
|
The Model 210 comes fully packaged, and is designed for assembly onto printed circuit
|
|
|
boards, making it ideal for analytical, measurement and control applications.
|
|
|
|
|
|
With an accuracy of 1% (0.5% and .25% are optional), thermal performance of 2%
|
|
|
FS/100°F zero (1.5% span), and excitation of 11 VDC to 18 VDC with 5 VDC output
|
|
|
(other excitations and outputs available), the Model 210 offers excellent performance in a
|
|
|
convenient package, overcoming the disadvantages of micro-machined silicon sensors.
|
|
|
For further flexibility, the transducer also includes onboard zero offset adjustments,
|
|
|
configurations with all stainless steel wetted parts, and a wide range of scale pressure
|
|
|
ranges down to 0-2" WC.
|
|
|
|
|
|
Using technology designed for industrial applications, the Model 210 offers either a molded
|
|
|
plastic fitting or stainless steel threaded fitting, features a stainless steel sensor, and is
|
|
|
compatible with a wide variety of pressure media. In operation, tubing can be connected to
|
|
|
the fitting on the transducer.
